Emerson students are independent-minded artists and communicators who explore daring ideas. They never stop creating, even after class is over. Day in and day out, students use their skills, talents, and strengths to push boundaries, advocate for social change, and create memorable productions that challenge and inspire.

Student Engagement and Leadership is dedicated to helping students find resources and join organizations on campus, commit to personal growth, and serve our community. Through leadership training, civic engagement, student organizations, and fraternity and sorority life, we aim to give you the tools and resources you need to become an active part of campus life.

Emerson College boasts a vibrant array of student-run Cultural Organizations. While these groups are not staff-run departments, they serve as vital resources for students seeking community, understanding, and shared experiences. These organizations play a crucial role in promoting cultural awareness, diversity, and inclusion on campus.

Some cultural orgs have been around for decades while others have emerged much more recently to meet the current and evolving needs of our student community. These Cultural Organizations provide a space for students to find community, express their identities, and engage with others who share similar backgrounds and interests. They are an essential component of Emerson's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive campus environment.

Emerson Wellness Center offers a variety of services to Emerson students. Counseling Services provides short-term psychotherapy, support and therapy groups, psychiatric consultation, referrals, crisis intervention, and outreach. All services are confidential.

The Office of Housing and Residential Education at Emerson College oversees all things related to living on the Boston campus. We are here to help you with any aspect of your residential experience, whether it is answering questions about housing, helping you move in, or making friends, we look forward to being a part of your experience!

Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) is a resource for the entire Emerson community—all current or future undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty. Commuter students at Emerson College live off-campus in an apartment or at home. Our commuter student programs and services are designed for you no matter where you live. OCSS is here to help with all aspects of off-campus living including getting involved with campus life, finding roommates, signing a lease, even learning how to cook!
