Students at Emerson have diverse options when it comes to course selection, and our dedicated advisors ensure that each student can make the informed decisions necessary for a fulfilling academic experience. We connect students to the wide array of college-wide resources so that they can chart the best path forward on their academic journey. We also facilitate the mentorship provided by faculty advisors—relationships that often last long after graduation.

The Career Development Center at Emerson College offers specialized services to meet the career aspirations of BIPOC students. With an Assistant Director for Career Access and Equity, the center emphasizes empowering students to bring their authentic selves to the workplace. The center provides tailored counseling for international students, focusing on helping them navigate the complexities of career development in a new cultural context. The aim is to connect students with workplaces where they feel valued and where their individual needs are met, promoting equity and inclusion in their professional journeys.
